The Journey Home is launching a new Ambassador Program to further engage the Community with our Veterans. Our goal is to organize a workforce of volunteers to network and educate the community about the Mission of TJH and to participate in and promote events in support of our Vision and Values.
The emphasis of this program is doing things with the Veterans rather than simply for them. We want to give the Community and Veterans a valuable opportunity to build meaningful relationships—deeper connections than would be formed through typical “service events”.
The duties and responsibilities of TJH Ambassadors are as follows:
- Establish relationships with TJH Veterans
- Attend and assist in planning TJH events
- Represent TJH at community events
- Promote TJH events and Mission to your community
Together, we will work to End Veteran Homelessness and uplift our Veterans, supporting them along their Journey.
